To give you peace of mind we offer fixed fees where possible on common types of matters. Unlike many firms we don’t bill you by the minute and we don’t charge you extra for things like phone calls, emails and photocopying. Our fees depend on the complexity and estimated time that will need to be spent on your matter.
If a matter cannot be done on a fixed fee basis, the lawyer will advise you of this in the initial conference and provide you with an estimate of our fees.
If you would like to meet one of our lawyers at our Parramatta, Liverpool or Sydney offices the first consultation is free. This is only for criminal and traffic matters. In many instances we can address your concerns via a phone call. Please note – free consultations are only during business hours and are time limited.
If you accept what you have been charged with and are preparing to plead guilty in the local court we can appear for you and ensure you get the best possible result. This fee includes any necessary conferences, checking references, preparing and making the plea.
If you want to plead ‘not guilty’ in the local court one of our experienced criminal lawyers can represent you. This fee includes all necessary conferences and preparation and one full day of hearing.
If you’ve been refused bail one of our criminal lawyers can prepare and make a bail application on your behalf. This fee includes a conference via phone or at court, all necessary preparation and making a bail application in the local court.
If you’ve been refused bail in the Local Court, one of our criminal lawyers can prepare and make a Supreme Court bail application on your behalf. This fee includes a conference via phone or at court, all necessary preparation and appearing on the hearing date.
If your licence has been suspended by the RMS or Police one of our experienced lawyers can lodge the appeal on your behalf, appear at court and ask the court to vary or remove the suspension entirely. This fee includes obtaining any necessary documentation and records, checking and advising on any references provided, and assisting you.
If you have been sentenced by the local court and believe the sentence is too severe one of our criminal lawyers can appear for you in the District Court and appeal for the sentence to be reduced. This fee includes all preparation, making the appeal submissions
A Section 14 Application allows charges to be dismissed on the basis that you suffer from a ‘mental condition’. The fee covers briefing psychiatrist/psychologist, preparation of documents and submissions and appearance on the court hearing date.
