How do you get to Bathurst Court House?

There are both train and coach services which connect Bathurst to Sydney. If you are driving from Sydney, it will take approximately three hours to reach Bathurst.

Our lawyers prefer to fly to Bathurst Airport and take a rental vehicle to the town.

The current presiding Magistrate at Bathurst Local Court is Her Honour Magistrate Catherine Follent.

Magistrate Follent was appointed to the bench in 2016.

Who is the Judge at Bathurst District Court?

The current presiding Judge at Bathurst District Court is His Honour Judge Graham Turnbull SC.

Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge Turnbull was a Senior Counsel and appeared for many Defendants in criminal trials and sentences. During this time, we briefed Judge Turnbull a number of times and worked closely with him.
