      Gunnedah is located in northeastern New South Wales, roughly 475 km from Sydney. If you are driving from Sydney, it will take approximately 5 hours to reach.

      As such, most people prefer to fly to Tamworth Airport and then drive a hire car. Gunnedah is approximately one hour drive from Tamworth.  This is the preferred option for our lawyers.

      Who is the Magistrate at Gunnedah Local Court?

      The current presiding Magistrate at Gunnedah Local Court is His Honour Magistrate George Breton.

      Prior to his appointment to the bench, Magistrate Breton worked as a senior solicitor with Legal Aid.  To this point, the Law Society acknowledged him as an accredited specialist in Criminal Law.
