Police can issue a $686 fine for using an unregistered vehicle, $686 for using an uninsured vehicle, $686 for using a vehicle with tax unpaid, and also $344 if you’re not wearing an approved motorcycle helmet and $572 if you don’t hold a valid class R motorcycle licence.
